Consistently delicious! I've never been disappointed. I would cry if they ever closed down. Best Chinese takeout around!

I must've ordered the wrong things cuz this place was just ok. Pork fried rice -good, mongolian beef- terrible, slimey and no flavor, sweet n sour chicken- all batter, egg roll- ok, hot n sour soup- good. So basically i'd get the soup, fried rice, and egg roll, but that's it. They do give a lot, but i'd rather go to pei wei.

The night my fiancé and I moved to the suburbs I knew I would crave pizza or Chinese food after unpacking all day. Chinese food won out that night. What I specifically said to him that night was: "I want to find a Chinese food place where you can get good and big portion sizes, crab rangoon and combination fried rice for two people around $30." I started looking and found Wing Wah very close by. My standard for a Chinese-food-restaurant-five-star-Yelp-rating is completely met by Wing Wah. They have huge crab rangoon (my food weakness) that is served piping hot and amazing Mongolian Beef that is spicy and comes in a huge portion. Let me be clear: this is a Chinese food restaurant in a strip mall; if you are expecting some kind of spectacular seated dining experience, then Wing Wah isn't it. What it is: consistent. Place an order for take out and it is the same quality, temperature and portion size as dining in. I am so glad that we have a place like this so close to us all the time, not just on moving day.

This is one of our favorite places for Chinese food. No matter what time of day, or what you order, it will be great. They have the best egg rolls ever. Not greasy or oil soaked, but just cooked to perfection and wonderful flavor. Th egg drop soup is outstanding, as well is the won ton soup. Over the years we have have had quite a few of the items on the menu. The chop suey is always a sure bet, as is the Singapore noodles, orange chicken or the Mongolian Delight. Their pork fried rice is just terrific. And watch out for the lunch specials, the portions are enormous. Just really good food all the time!

Ordered take out for the 1st time, had the beef chow fun (dried) and lucky 7. Really really good. Loved the food, and they are not cheap on the quantity/servings. Food is really tasteful, even without them using MSG. Chinese restaurants usually use a lot of MSG to enhance the flavors. Definitely recommend and will definitely be a return customer. :) Oh yah, recommend for then to have a website or somewhere they can post the menu online.

This place is one of our two go-to Chinese restaurants in the AH area. We've been going here for a good 15+ years, and they have never disappointed. The food portions are huge (you'll have leftovers for days, or just get one entree and split it), and it's very good. The prices are also very reasonable. The location is teeny, and in a little strip mall hidden behind a gas station, but if you want to eat in, there are about 10 tables/booths, the lighting is low and the atmosphere is calming.

Had beef chow fun, sweet and sour chicken, and hot and sour soup. Chinese wife says beef chow fun was authentic. Everything else American Chinese and fantastic. I think American Chinese just means add carrots, deep fry it and smother it in gooey sauce. Such a great deal too; under $7 and large portions.

Had their General Tsonga Chicken and Egg roll. The best I have had. Look forward to the leftovers. Yumo

This place gives you a lot of okay Chinese food for your buck. Everything is pretty standard. The chicken and beef are a little better than average but the shrimp is a overcooked and tough. The meals are kind of bland. The staff is nice but not very helpful in explaining what each menu item is. The weirdest part, and this is a first, but they are very stingy with the rice and noodles. Between three plates we got only one small container of rice and no noodles, even though we had requested them as part of one of the meals. Overall, the food was pretty bland but in great quantity.

Wing Wah was recommended by a fellow co-worker, as my Fiance and I recently moved to Palatine and weren't familiar with the local Chinese food places. My Fiance loves Wing Wah - he is a huge Sweet & Sour soup fan and they have probably one of the best he has had. Their eggrolls & crab rangoon are really, really good and they are a good size as well. We have tried their Organge Chicken, Mongolian Chicken and a few noodle dishes as well. Their serving sizes are huge for the noodles - literally can feed a family of 4 in my opinion. The only reason I give this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because the sauce for their food is on the thicker side and it's not something that I personally enjoy (I have to add a bit of water and heat it up in order to thin out the sauce to a more enjoyable consistency for me).

I have heard great things about the food! The woman that works here is something else. Walked out, hungry. Service is horrible. Love great food, but not enough to be scowled at for saying hello.

I have been coming to this restaurant for 20 years! Even after moving about 45min away from Arlington Heights, my family will still only get chinese food from here! No where else compares! Amazing food, and wonderful owners! Highly recommend the pot stickers, Wing Wah Special, and Mongolian Beef!

I've always ordered take out here but it's our favorite chinese place! The shrimp chow mein is the best! Big, fresh pieces of shrimp and lots of fresh veggies like celery, mushrooms and water chestnuts! Other entrees are also great and we've never had a problem with service. If you order enough, they throw in things for free and it's a nice surprise when we get home! Really enjoy it!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
